Between this Black Redstart and me there is a well established routine. Every winter evening, at about sunset, she comes to perch on an old wooden grill on my terrace. She checks me out through the window glasses as at that time I am usually working on my photographs. After a while she comes to perch closer, just outside the windows on the shades I leave open for her, so she can sleep under the roof repaired from the chilly winds. This was taken just a few minutes ago… Golden dreams, fair lady.
